Miller Theatre at Columbia University is one of New York City's most acclaimed music venues, dedicated to producing contemporary and early music, jazz, chamber opera, and multimedia performances. Since 1988, they've been a vital force for innovative programming and a champion of emerging composers and ensembles.
Running a performance venue takes focus. Between programming world-class concerts, supporting new commissions, and building audiences, the last thing Miller Theatre's small team needed to worry about was whether their website was secure, up to date, or performing well.
They needed a technical partner who could handle the ongoing care and feeding of their site. Someone who'd be there when questions arose, when hosting costs needed scrutiny, and when the unexpected happened—like, say, a global pandemic that required rapid programming changes.
Since 2013, we've been Miller Theatre's go-to web support team. Our partnership started when they were working with a design agency on a redesign. We came in to help implement the design team's changes into Miller's CMS and make sure everything worked as intended.
As that project wrapped up, Miller Theatre asked us to stick around for ongoing maintenance and updates—and we've been working together ever since.

In 2021, Miller Theatre hired a design agency to redesign and rebuild the site in a new CMS. Once that project was complete, they came right back to us to handle ongoing maintenance and support. That kind of trust means everything.
