By 2020, Arts+ had outgrown their previous development partner. Their website was built and functional, but their needs were evolving faster than their partner could keep up. Foundational maintenance - We keep their WordPress installation secure with regular patches and updates, including major CMS upgrades. Behind the scenes, we're making sure everything runs smoothly so Arts+ can focus on their students.
Infrastructure optimization - When aging hosting infrastructure was causing issues, we helped migrate to a managed hosting platform that's more reliable and easier to maintain.
Global site search - With so much content on the site, visitors needed a better way to find what they were looking for. We built a comprehensive search feature that's fast and intuitive. On the backend, we gave Arts+ staff tools to tune search results with weighting and tagging, making sure the most relevant content rises to the top.
Program filtering experience - Finding the right class shouldn't feel like work. We reimagined their program list and calendar experience, building a performant filterable interface that lets visitors quickly drill down to the exact classes and programs they want. Age group, discipline, location, schedule—all easy to navigate.
CMS simplification - Over time, their content management system had grown complicated and unwieldy. We've been working to streamline it, making it simpler for Arts+ staff to update content, add new programs, and manage their site day to day.
Strategic guidance - When Arts+ has questions or new ideas, we're there to talk through options and help them make informed decisions about what makes sense for their organization.
