Arts Initiative at Columbia University exists to spark arts interest and connect Columbia students with incredible arts experiences on campus and across New York City, offering programs ranging from free performances and museum access to discounted tickets and arts outings. Their mission is simple but powerful—make sure every Columbia student can find an arts opportunity that's accessible to them.
In 2021, Arts Initiative had just worked with a design agency to build a fresh WordPress site. The design work was done, the site was live, and everything looked great. But they needed someone to take over from there—to handle the technical care, keep things secure, and be available when questions came up or new ideas needed vetting.
They needed a web partner who understood arts organizations, could maintain their CMS with regular security patches and updates, and would show up as a trusted resource for strategic guidance.
Since taking over maintenance in 2021, we've been Arts Initiative's technical safety net. Our role is straightforward but essential.
