MojoAddons

A multi-seller e-commerce site for digital goods.

With the launch of EllisLab's new, smaller content management system, MojoMotor, came the opportunity for web developers to begin creating new addon tools to add and change functionality of the product.

We created the MojoAddons site to be a primary source for commercial MojoMotor addons. The goal was to create a very simple site, running on the MojoMotor content management system, which enabled multiple sellers to list and sell their addon software independently through in one-stop website.

The site features featured products, PayPal integration and basic documentation and author information for each item in the store.

A backend system was also built that records transactions and handles licensing and distribution of the addons for the sellers. The system keeps track of all the addons a user has purchased, and how many licenses of each were bought. A reporting suite helps with recordkeeping.

The homepage drives viewers to the list of addons as well as three featured items.

Each Item has documentation, author information and pricing, as well as a quick way to make a purchase.
