MojoAddons Comes to an End

Posted by Jeremy Gimbel on November 30, 2012 in:

After nearly two and a half years, MojoAddons says goodbye.

It seems like just a short time ago that MojoMotor was announced at EECI in San Francisco. A few colleagues and I quickly went to work after receiving the first beta of MojoMotor, developing a set of add-ons to add some key functions to the new content management system.

We were ready to go and launched our MojoAddons commercial add-on site within an hour of the public release of MojoMotor.

It was exciting at first, seeing how people began to use MojoMotor. We quickly added some new features and new add-ons to keep up with the growing community of users.

Since that time, our sales have dropped off significantly, and many of our developers have moved onto new projects. So, it's with a bit of saddness that I announce that MojoAddons will be shutting down. We had a good run, and we'll be keeping an eye on the future of MojoMotor.

Thanks to all of you who have purchased from our add-on store, developed and sold add-ons on our site and helped spread the word about MojoAddons.
